Which laser is more effective in treating wrinkles around the eyes and why is plasma therapy good? We explain why peptide bioreparant and chemical peels are effective in combating skin folds in the periorbital zone.
laser therapy
The procedure is suitable for patients of all ages. Laser therapy has a strong stimulating effect at the cellular level, which leads to a decrease in macro and micro relief. The result is a visible reduction in the depth of wrinkles. The number of procedures is determined by the cosmetologist depending on the severity of the problem. The duration of treatment is from 1 to 3 sessions (with a frequency of 1 time per month).
Two lasers are most commonly used to correct wrinkles in the periorbital region: erbium and CO2. The laser beam acts on the skin and causes active cell regeneration. In general, laser therapy aims to improve skin quality and fight wrinkles. Before laser rejuvenation, the doctor can recommend preparatory procedures: for example, plasma therapy or biorevitalization with hyaluronic acid-based preparations.
During the procedure, the doctor must numb the skin. After laser therapy, you should refrain from going to the bathhouse and sauna for about two weeks, use scrubs and treatments with alcohol and retinol in the composition, and be sure to use products with a sun protection factor (the higher, the better).
Contraindications for laser rejuvenation are the same as for other physiotherapeutic procedures: exacerbation of chronic skin diseases, acute somatic conditions, pregnancy, oncological diseases.
chemical peels
To correct wrinkles in the periorbital area, we recommend a TCA chemical peel with a 20% (or more) trichloroacetic acid solution. This is a medium scrub that can be done 1-2 times at any time of the year.
The process takes about 30 minutes. The doctor applies a trichloroacetic acid solution in layers (the number of layers depends on the thickness of the skin).
Hyperemia (increased blood flow) is expressed on the skin immediately after the peeling, after 1-2 days the impact site acquires a bronze hue, and after 3-4 days a microplate peeling appears. It is very important to follow all the doctor's recommendations after the procedure. The specialist must provide the patient with a protocol of the rehabilitation period.
The result of the TCA peeling is the correction of small wrinkles around the eyes. Such a peeling is also suitable for reducing wrinkles on the forehead, cheeks and lips and for improving the general condition of the skin: it becomes smooth and even. Important: do not wash the affected areas with water for a day after peeling, use regenerative creams and thermal water. During rehabilitation, make sure to use products with a sun protection factor (from 30).
The procedure has contraindications: herpes, inflammatory processes, deep pigmentation, allergies, pregnancy, lactation, malignant tumors.
plasma therapy
Plasmogel is made by heating the patient's plasma in a special centrifuge and injecting it. The procedure is good for adding volume and correcting wrinkles on the skin.
The plasma is injected with an atraumatic cannula, which completely eliminates the risk of hematoma. The advantage of plasma therapy is quick rehabilitation compared to other procedures. There may be redness, which disappears after a few hours.
With Plasmogel therapy, the effect increases, so we recommend that you do it in one course - 3 treatments once a month, and after six months - another session. The result is impressive: firm, elastic skin and visibly reduced wrinkles around the eyes.
fillers
Another common injection procedure to correct wrinkles around the eyes. Fillers are preparations based on hyaluronic acid that help compensate for the lack of subcutaneous fat. If you need to solve the problem of folds in the periorbital area with the help of fillers, then the specialist uses preparations for contouring. In most cases, no anesthesia is required during the procedure, since the preparations already contain a local anesthetic. If there is no anesthetic in the composition of the drug, the cosmetologist will perform anesthesia.
You need to repeat the procedure, according to the doctor - the frequency depends on the degree of biodegradability of the filler itself. When working with a fixed range, it is likely that the next visit to the doctor will not wait for you for 2-3 years.
If you have an inflammatory process or a viral disease shortly before the procedure, it is better to postpone the introduction of fillers. Also, be sure to discuss with your doctor the risk of an allergic reaction to the components of the drug.
Injections with peptide bioreparant
This is an injectable medication used to correct the area of the eyelids and the area around the eyes. The basis of the drug is a DRMC complex of hyaluronic acid and trace elements that moisturize and tone the skin.
For a noticeable result, we recommend a course of 3 procedures 14 days apart. Then the effect can be maintained every six months. One procedure lasts no more than 20 minutes, taking into account the pre-treatment of the area around the eyes with an anesthetic and antiseptic.
